Do you publish articles online ahead of print?
Yes. Online publication typically occurs 1 to 3 weeks ahead of print (second or third week of the cover month, NOT the month before); Express Track articles appear online 2 to 4 weeks ahead of print (2 days after the author’s final approval of the paper).When will my article appear on PubMed after it is published?
All articles are submitted to PubMed after publication. The amount of time between publication and appearance on PubMed is dependent on the National Library of Medicine’s internal processes and workflow, over which we as publishers have no control. Please contact the National Library of Medicine for more information.What is the estimated duration of peer review?
Three to 4 weeks (Express Track, 1–2 weeks).When can I expect to see my paper in print?
Manuscripts are typically published within 8 weeks of acceptance (Express Track, 3 weeks).What is the status of my paper?

Yes, unless you’ve heard otherwise from the editor.What forms are the authors required to submit?
All authors must complete a copyright transfer form and a declarations form before a manuscript will be published. If receipt of these forms from ALL authors is delayed, the paper will be rescheduled to a subsequent month.What are your turnaround times?
You can expect to receive the edited manuscript within 3 weeks of acceptance, depending on the workflow at the journal. You will be expected to return your comments and revisions within 3 business days. Galley proofs will follow within 1 week, with turnaround/final approval expected within 24 hours. If you must circulate the paper to various authors for approval, please make contingency plans if 1 or more authors is expected to be out of the office.My paper hasn’t yet been published online or in print, but I need the full citation. How can I obtain this?
The full citation will be as follows: [Authors]. [Article title]. Clin Ther. 2010;32:XXX–XXX. If you need page numbers or the electronic identification number, please contact Theresa Salerno.We’ve provided final approval on our paper. Why don’t I see it online?
Express Track papers are posted within 48 hours of final approval; all other papers do not appear online until approximately the third week of the month.I’m filling out the reprint order form. How can I find out the number of pages in my article?
An estimated number of pages is provided in the formal acceptance letter. You may submit your order form at any time before or after publication; however, if you order before we go to press, you will receive a significant discount.What’s the maximum number of tables/figures allowed?
For original research papers, there is no limit to the number of tables or figures accepted with your submission. For all other papers, please consult the manuscript submission guidelines.My article contains 4-color art. What is the fee for this?
Clinical Therapeutics charges an extra fee for art printed in color (for pricing, please contact Kristen Lewis); you will receive a separate invoice. Otherwise, figures are printed in black and white.
